Five, seven then five
Write haikus with this structure
Short but sweet poems.
surprise! These are haikus, usually, they're always 3 lines and each line has a set number of syllables, five in the first line, seven in the next, and five in the last. Traditionally they're about nature and/or the seasons, and I write them sometimes. Each set of 3 lines is its own poem so they arent really meant to be read as one big multi-lined piece, you can if you want to though
Feel the heat pull back
In warm hoodies as leaves drop;
Fall nights have no flaw
Snow crushed by our feet
Laughter frozen in the air -
nothing else beats it
Friendship on fire
Thought I knew what to do here
I'm single. She's not
